She has produced and directed more than 30 hours of internationally broadcast documentaries, including the acclaimed series Al-Nakba.She previously spent ten years as a Senior Commissioning Producer at Al Jazeera Media Network, where she founded and led Palestine Remix, the largest interactive visual archive dedicated to Palestine. In 2019, Rawan launched the Palestine Ambassador initiative—an online platform designed to equip people interested in the Palestinian cause with reliable information, films, and practical tools to counter misinformation, featuring free multilingual content in Arabic, English, and Spanish.Since 2020, Rawan has served as Director General of Arab Researchers for Investigative Journalism (ARIJ) and was recently elected Chairperson of the Board of the Global Forum for Media Development (GFMD).
